Founded in 1892, the museum in Aš mainly displays ceramics, furniture, folk costumes, arms, paintings and other objects donated to the town. The museum also displays a permanent exhibition mapping the development of textile manufacture in the district of Aš. You may familiarize yourself with various techniques of spinning, weaving, knitting, dying from the oldest to the most modern methods.

The Aš Museum is situated on the premises of the local chateau. It is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday.
