The golf course in Mariánské Lázně was built in 1905. The ribbon at its grand opening was cut by King Edward VII of England who also became the founding member of the golf club. Since 2003, the club has been granted the right to use the designation "Royal Golf Club" based on a decision of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

In addition to the 18-hole championship golf course, a public 9-hole golf course accessible without a green card may be found on the Royal Golf Club grounds, along with a driving range, a clubhouse with adequate background facilities, a restaurant, golf equipment rental, a pro shop, training services, etc.
