As other grandiose architectonic masterpieces in Františkovy Lázně, the Imperial is the work of builder Karl Wiedermann. The ostentatious building, originally known as Villa Imperial, was completed in 1878. It acquired its present-day appearance in 1827 when an extra floor was added during the reconstruction of the building after a fire.

The Imperial Hotel is one of the most beautiful spa houses in Františkovy Lázně. You will find it in the middle of the park not far from the colonnade.
