The construction of the social house in Františkovy Lázně was completed in 1877. Its new magnificent social hall was built in response to the growing demand for dignified premises where spa guests could gather for social dinners, but also entertain themselves. The author of the Neo-Renaissance structure is local builder Gustav Wiedermann who interconnected the new hall with two existing buildings.

Today, the social hall is the venue of congresses, balls and other social events. And as its name implies, the building also houses a casino.
