Rebuilt in Viennese Classicism style, Kynžvart Chateau is one of the most beautiful chateaus in the Region of Karlovy Vary. It is surrounded by an English-style landscaped park spreading over an area of 300 hectares, which is adjoined by an 18-hole golf course.

Apart from its beautiful exterior, the chateau attracts visitors by its expositions, which include the unique collection of the famous Austrian Chancellor Metternich. You may visit the chancellor's library, his study, his smoking parlour with four valuable altar paintings, the chateau armoury and chapel, or the renowned cabinet of curiosities with Egyptian mummies, the comb of Empress Marie Therese, the writing desk of Alexander Dumas, and many other interesting artefacts.
