Not far from Františkovy Lázně, you may find the renowned Maria Loreto pilgrimage complex built by the Jesuits in the 17th century. The Baroque Loreto chapel with the pilgrimage Church of the Holy Ghost are situated in the village of Starý Hrozňatov approximately 14 kilometres from Františkovy Lázně.

Thanks to its recent large-scale reconstruction, the Maria Loreto continues to serve its original purpose even today. During the tourist season, religious services in Czech are held every fortnight and in German language once a month. The pilgrimage complex also serves as the venue of Czech-German fairs. The Maria Loreto is open to the wide public throughout the tourist season.
