The Cheb Museum is situated in the town square in one of the oldest burgher houses known as as Pachelbel's House where Duke Albrecht von Wallenstein (Czech: Albrecht z Valdštejna) was murdered and where almost 100,000 exhibits and a voluminous study library may be found today. The historical and artistic exposition will familiarize you with the rich history of the town and the district. In addition, you will also find a display dedicated to Albrecht von Wallenstein, a lapidary, an exhibition of Cheb pottery, etc.
The museum regularly organizes various thematic exhibitions in the small exhibition hall.
